MicroTEK® innovations enable high-performance energy-efficient diffuse light in linear LED lighting applications. Particularly well suited to continuous run applications which demand no seams of several tens of meters. MicroTEK® technology enables the encoding of a range of typical refractive, diffractive and scattering functions into optics that are both thin and flat. This innovative approach provides OEMs developing LED fixtures a wide range of light management properties and an additional after market revenue stream. MicroTEK® control rolls are available in PMMA (acrylic) and PC (polycarbonate) and are typically between 0.5mm and 3mm thick.
MicroTEK® control rolls are available in a wide range of widths, thicknesses and materials. When used in linear LED light fixtures it is possible to create most typical specification-grade lighting distributions including narrow and wide beam, asymmetric, double asymmetric, wash and grazer.
